Das zweite und letzte Outfit aus Sanremo – ich hatte mehr eingeplant, wir haben auch noch eines geshootet, aber das Outfit hat mir im Endergebnis dann doch nicht so gefallen. Das andere Outfit hätten wir in Verona fotografiert, aber da konnten wir uns wirklich nicht mehr auf solche Dinge konzentrieren. Dafür gefällt mir dieses Endergebnis, und das Outfit sogar noch besser.

Ich mag es einfach, und ich mag es, wenn es nicht perfekt ist. Perfektion ist so oft nur das Vorspiegeln falscher Tatsachen, und ich finde, es schadet nicht, auch mal Fotos zu zeigen, auf denen man nicht top aussieht und die Frisur bis auf die letzte Strähne sitzt. Vor diesen Aufnahmen haben wir Sanremo stundenlang erkundet, wurden von einer Salzwasserwelle im Gesicht erwischt und der Wind hat auch noch mitgemischt. Und eine Fleck auf der Kamera – aber was soll’s.

Manchmal sollte man die Dinge einfach so nehmen, wie sie kommen, vor allem, wenn man unter Palmen steht und das Meer im Hintergrund rauschen hört, die Wellen, wie sie an den Felsen brechen und die Möwen wie sie am Himmel schreien.

Weiter unter Palmen spazieren und die Haare zerzausen lassen.

The second and last outfit from Sanremo – originally I planned to shoot four outfits, and we shot three, but the third was kind of…do you know it, when your outfit is kind of better in real life than on pictures? Maybe it wasn’t the right time and place for a shooting, who knows. And in case of the last one – it wasn’t the right moment, or the right place and especially not the right attitude for such things. But I really like this outfit and the shooting result.

I like the simple things, and I like it if it’s not perfect. Perfection often is just a twist of facts and in my view it doesn’t hurt if I’m not looking perfect and my hair isn’t styled ‘on fleek’. Before we took this photos we explored Sanremo for hours, were hit by a salt water wave and it was a very windy day too. But what the heck!

Sometimes one should take things like they come, especially if you're below palms, hearing the sound of the sea behind you, waves breaking on rocks and seagulls mewing on the sky.
