INSPIRATION | Double Denim

All Over Looks so liebe.

Double denim, denim all over, denim, denim, denim on my mind. I had a time, I didn’t like such all over looks, I thought they’re boring and shiftless. Now I think, they’re just simple, but nevertheless they appear very fashionable. I love to combine all over look – as you can see on the blog (you can find the link after the German text). I guess, it’s one of the biggest trends these times to wear simple and easy looks, when just the cuts and the minimalism of a look convince.

Denim is a fascinating fibre, first it was just work clothing but soon it became one of the most worn fibres all over the world. A good pair of jeans is worth a mint, you all know what I’m talking about. Currently I’m totally in love with ripped denim – either if it’s a pair of jeans, a jacket, a shirt or something else. I love to pay money for wasted clothes.

In my view, denim on denim looks the best with clean accessories and neutral colours, my favourite is nude. But even with black it looks awesome. And white refreshes the whole thing a little bit and brings some summer in the denim story – I mean blue and white, can you a imagine a pair which is more summer? Some people say, it’s important to mix different shades of denim for an all over look, but I think it’s not that necessary. If you combine similar hues, you have the possibility to let the cuts speak, what I really like.

What do you think about all over looks? And do you follow the denim on denim rule or do you prefer combining similar shades of denim? Would you wear all over denim?
