Kennt man das Sprichwort „Wie das Herrchen so der Hund.“ eigentlich noch?
Es gibt definitiv Fälle bei denen das mehr als zutrifft. Aber als ob die Ähnlichkeit noch nicht genug wäre, sind es dann meistens auch diese Menschen, die meinen, dass ihre Haustiere unbedingt Kleidung brauchen. Das kleine Handtaschen-Hündchen friert sonst im Winter ja zu sehr. Ist doch logisch. Deshalb braucht es einen Mantel, der gleich aussieht wie der der Besitzerin – oder des Besitzers, wir wollen ja nicht behaupten, dass das nur Frauen machen – und mindestens gleich viel kostet.
Habt ihr euch schon einmal angesehen, was so ein Teil für so ein kleines
Tier kostet? Schaut ja niedlich aus, aber es ist weder artgerecht, noch
sinnvoll. Also wozu kauft man es dann? Ganz ernsthaft.. ist doch lächerlich.
Hunde, Katzen.. ganz egal was für ein Tier ist doch von der Natur so
geschaffen, dass es überleben kann. Da brauchen wir keine Regenmäntelchen oder
Röckchen..
Es regt mich auf, dass es überhaupt Menschen gibt, die meinen, dass dem
kleinen Vieh sonst einfach zu kalt ist oder es sich durch den Regen verkühlt
ohne den Regenmantel. Es sind keine Kinder! Sind es einfach nicht, es sind und
bleiben Tiere. Ende. Da braucht man nicht zu diskutieren. Wir haben ja alle
unsere Macken, aber wenn wir ein anderen damit das Leben schwer machen, dann
ist das nicht in Ordnung. Und ja, man macht einem Hund das Leben schwer, wenn
es einen Mantel bekommt, der an den Beinen festgebunden wird, damit er richtig
sitzt. Das ist einfach nicht natürlich und abgesehen davon fühlen sich die
meisten Tiere damit auch nicht wohl.
Wenn das so weitergeht, essen unsere Haustiere auch noch mit uns gemeinsam
am Tisch und wir schreiben ihnen Karten wenn wir auf Reisen sind. Das ist doch
alles Blödsinn. Wenn wir schon meinen, wir müssen Tiere haben, dann sollten wir
sie auch möglichst natürlich behandeln. Nicht wie kleine Kinder. Es ist einfach
absolut nicht sinnvoll Tiere komplett zu vermenschlichen.
Wenn ich mir das so durchlese klingt das, als würde ich Tiere hassen. Aber
nein, das ist wirklich nicht so. Ich mag sie sehr gerne und ich würde ohne
unseren kleinen dicken Enrico wahrscheinlich viel weniger lachen, aber er ist
und bleibt eben eine Katze. Kein Mensch. Auch wenn ich zugeben muss, dass ich
ihn hin und wieder wie ein Kind behandle und ihn mit meiner Liebe überschütte,
aber alles hat seine Grenzen. Nur weil er bestimmt total süß in einem Smoking
aussehen würde, bekommt er noch lange keinen.
Was sagt ihr zu diesem Thema? Würdet ihr euren Tieren lustige Kleidung
anziehen, weil es euch gefällt oder würdet ihr auch eher an ihr Wohl denken?

In the German language there is a saying which loosely translated means something like "the dog is like it's owner". Did you ever hear something like that?
There are definitely cases which apply perfectly. But as if the resemblance wasn't enough, most of these people think, that their pets need clothes. Otherwise the handbag dog would freeze too much. It's logical, isn't it? Therefore it needs a coat, that almost looks like the one of its owner and costs at least as much as it.
It irritates me so much that there are people who really think that it's too cold for the dog or it will get a cold without a raincoat. These are no children! They aren't, they are and remain animals. End. There is no need for discussion. We all have our own (little) idiosyncrasies but if we make life difficult for another one, it's not okay. And yes, one makes the life difficult to a dog if it gets a coat which is tied to his legs, so that it properly fits. This isn't natural and apart from this fact most animals do not feel fine with it.
If it goes on in such a way, our pets will eat with us at the table and we write them cards when we are travelling. This is nonsense. If we'd like to have animals we should treat them at least as if it is good for them. Not like children. It's not good to humanise animals completely.
This all sounds a little bit like I hate animals, but no. It's not like that. I like them very much and without out little fattie Enrico I would probably laugh not that much, but he remains a cat. No human. Even if I have to admit that I sometimes treat him like a child and cover him with my love, but everything has its borders. Only because he would look so sweet in a smoking I still wouldn't buy one for him.
