LISTEN | Paramore

Könnt ihr euch noch an Twilight erinnern? Wahrscheinlich schon, und was ist mit Paramores Caught Myself? Ich habe dieses Lied rauf und runter gehört, und wahrscheinlich keines öfter gehört zu dieser Zeit. Ich habe die Band schon immer gut gefunden und sie war mir auch schon vor der Vampirschnulze ein Begriff, aber dieser Song hat mich wirklich beeindruckt. Paramore hat außerdem den Soundtrack perfekt gemacht und trotzdem schaffen sie es, dass ich Caught Myself nicht zwingend mit der gehypten Filmreihe verbinde.

Für mich ist es viel mehr das Lied, das so perfekt beschreibt, wie es ist, wenn man sich zu einem Menschen hingezogen fühlt, obwohl man es eigentlich gar nicht wirklich vorhatte. Ich meine, wann hat man das schon vor, aber meistens weiß man doch im Vorhinein worauf es hinauslaufen wird oder?

Bei Casey und mir war es auch so ungefähr. Wir hatten beide nicht wirklich Interesse daran unbedingt eine Beziehung zu führen, aber ich konnte nicht damit aufhören ihr zu schreiben und sie wollte mir anscheinend immer wieder antworten.

Das Outfit war eher spontan. Irgendwie gibt mein Kleiderschrank nichts mehr her, alles was ich in letzter Zeit tue, ist Casey’s Schrank ausräumen und nach Dingen suchen, die mir auch passen. Und dieser Pullover ist einer dieser Teile. Wobei ich zugeben muss, dass an diesem Outfit generell wenig mir gehört, weder die Uhr noch die Kette, aber wisst ihr was? Macht doch nichts, irgendwann werde ich schon wieder shoppen gehen. Nichtsdestotrotz liebe ich dieses Outfit einfach.

Do you remember Twilight? You probably will, and what about Paramore’s Caught Myself? I listened to this song the whole day at that time. I liked the band before, but this song really impressed me. Paramore simply took the whole soundtrack to perfection and at the same time they made a song, which I still do not always connect it with the hyped movie series.

For me it’s that kind of song which describes so perfectly how one feels if one starts to like a person, although it wasn’t one’s intention. I mean, I don’t think that anybody has the intention to fall for someone, but most of the time one knows what one’s getting into before.

It was like that with Casey and me. Both of us didn’t really want a relationship, but somehow I couldn’t resist writing her and it seems she wanted to answer me again and again.

The outfit was spontaneous. Somehow my closet doesn’t have anything I like in there and everything I do is stealing Casey's clothes lately. And the pullover is one of those things. I have to admit that in general most of the things in this outfit don't belong to me, neither the watch nor the necklace, but do you know what? It's no problem, because sometimes I will go shopping again. I nevertheless love this outfit.
