W H A T ' S  N E W ?

Letztes Wochenende waren wir nach Ewigkeiten mal wieder bei einer Singstarparty dabei - macht man sowas heute überhaupt noch? - und wir hatten so viel Spaß. Das sind immer die Momente, wo wir uns überlegen, nicht doch Singstar Spiele zu kaufen. Aber das ist zu zweit einfach nicht das Gleiche. Dann doch lieber öfter mit Freunden treffen und SingStar spielen. Und gute Songs mies nachsingen. So viel Spaß.

Last weekend we finally were again at a singstar party - does anyone of you do this anymore? - we had so much fun. These are the moments where we think of buying Singstar games. But in sets of two it isn't the same. Then we'd rather like to meet our friends and play Singstar. And to sing good songs badly. So much fun.

Viel YouTube und DSDS - ja, DSDS, ihr habt richtig gelesen. Wir schauen es gerne, auch wenn es richtig nervt, dass pro Folge, jeder zweite Teilnehmer einfach nur ins Lächerliche gezogen wird, jeder erste so mittelmäßig und nur ein einziger wirklich gut (!) ist, man wird über die aktuellen Charts ins Bild gesetzt. Was uns wirklich oft fehlt, da wir so gut wie nie Radio hören. 

Much YouTube and DSDS - yes, DSDS (a german 'trash' casting show) you read it right. We like to watch it, even if it really gets us irritated that every second participant is stultified, every first one is moderate and only one single is really good (!), but we get informed about the current charts.

L O V E D

Seit Halloween bin ich (Casey) regelrecht verrückt nach Make-up-Videos, aber nicht nach diesen 0815-Morgenroutine-Daily-Makeup-Routine-Blödsinn, sondern nach Kostüm-Make-up-Tutorials. Vor allem FreshBlush hat es mir angetan, sie ist einfach total sympathisch und richtig talentiert. Und allein deshalb hat mich die 7-Deadly-Sins-Kooperation schon gefreut. Außerdem genial: Michael Buchingers Selfie-Tipps. Seht euch dieses Video unbedingt an. Und auf Instagram neu entdeckt haben wir den tollen Account @themountainexperience - der unser Fernweh nur noch schlimmer macht.

Since Halloween I'm (Casey) crazy about make-up-videos, but not these run-of-the-mill-morning-routins-daily-make-up-bullshit, but costume-make-up-tutorials. Especially FreshBlush has really got me, she is so pleasant and really talented. And just because of this I was so excited about the 7-Deadly-Sins-Cooperation. Also ingenious: Buchingers selfie tipps. Do watch this video. And on Instagram we discovered the great account @themountainexperience - which makes us wanderlust.

H A T E D

Wenn Leute bei Singstar nicht voll dabei sind und nur daneben sitzen und sich über andere kaputt lachen - und oft nicht mal das. Das ist einfach... Grrr. Aber diese Woche war die meistgehasste Tätigkeit mit Sicherheit das Aufstehen. Kennt ihr diese Tage, wo man sich nach dem ersten Wecker einfach nur umdreht, nach dem zweiten Wecker wieder, und nach dem fünften denkt man immer noch - aber ich bin doch gerade erst ins Bett! Vor allem Casey ist ein Morgenmuffel, und diese Woche war es besonders schlimm. Schrecklich, wenn der Tag mit Hass à la Michael Buchinger beginnt.

If people are not fully at that when we're playing Singstar but just sit there and laugh about everyone else - and often not even that. This is simply.. grr. But this week the most hated thing was getting up, for sure. Do you know these days, where one turns around by hearing the alarm, at the second again, and then after the fifth one one just thinks - but I just went to bed! Especially Casey is a morning grouch, and this week was really bad. Terrible if the week begins with hate à la Michael Buchinger.

B O U G H T

Ballkarten! Es wird wohl der letzte Ball für uns in dieser Saison sein, und wir freuen uns schon sehr darauf. Ein ganz klassischer, für den man sich richtig, richtig aufhübschen kann, mit auffälligem Kleid und tollen Schuhen - obwohl wir wahrscheinlich flache anziehen werden, auf Bällen steht man so oft einfach nur in der Gegend herum, da sind hohe Schuhe echt schmerzhaft.

Tickets for prom! It will be the last ball for us in this season and we're really excited about it. A classic one, where one has to glam up with a striking dress and great shoes - although we will probably wear flat ones, at a ball one just stands around most of the time and high heels are painful then.
