OUTFIT | Christmas staff party

Es gibt einige Anlässe im Jahr, bei denen man (selbst ich) einem bestimmten Dresscode folgen sollte. Die jährliche Firmenweihnachtsfeier gehört da definitiv dazu. Das merkt man allein schon daran, dass plötzlich die Kolleginnen mit Fragezeichen in den Augen bei einem stehen und fragen: Was ziehst du an? Oft geht es direkt nach der Arbeit los, da ist die Frage schon berechtigt. Zieht man sich vorher noch mal um? Oder hat man das Outfit gleich den ganzen Tag an? Dann darf es auf keinen Fall zu drüber sein.

Es mag zwar langweilig sein, aber das kleine Schwarze bietet immer einen guten Mittelweg. Ich versuche ja bekanntlich immer, ich zu bleiben. Ich bin ehrlich: Ich bin einfach kein Etuikleid-Typ wie Eden. Ich mag auch keine Blazer, und ich hasse Hemdblusen. Das bin ich einfach nicht. Ich bin eben mehr der Typ „Strickpulli-drauf-passt-schon“. Und das geht bei der Firmenweihnachtsfeier eher nicht.

Deshalb: Das kleine Schwarze, eine Jacke im Military Stil und diese coolen Ankle Boots. Und ich denke, ich werde dieses Outfit sogar wirklich tragen. Was meint ihr?

There are some occasions in the year where one should follow some certain dress code (also me!). The annual christmas staff party is definitively one of those. One notices it already at the fact, that suddenly all the collegues stand there with questionmarks in their eyes asking everybody: What do you wear? Often the party is just after the work, therefore it is a good question. Does one change clothes before once more? Or does one wear the same outfit which one had worn all day? Then it doesn't need to be too over the top.

It may seems to be boring but the little black dress is always a good middle course. As is well known I try to remain myself. I am honest: I am not a shift dress type like Eden. I also like no blazers, and I hate shirts. This isn't me. I am more the type of "knit-jumper-close-enough". And this is a no go for a christmas staff party.

Therefore: The little black dress, a jacket in military-style and these cool ankle boots. And I think, I will wear this outfit for real. What do you mean?
