LISTEN | Saliva

I only know Saliva for about one week but nevertheless the song Always  is always on my mind. I already ask myself why I didn't found them earlier. Better late than never. ;)

Always is one of these songs which one can interpret in so many different kinds. Some say that it was written from the point of a woman, many others say that it's a song by a man to a man, but the thing which is really important is, what we think of it.

For me the most understandable interpretation is that it's about a relationship - no matther whether man woman, man man or woman woman.
I would say that it's a relationship which is scarred by dependence of one part. One where one would do absolutely everything to make the other stay, just because one feels dependent, no matter if one already starts to hate the other.

I am just so glad, that I am not in such a relationship. Nevertheless, I think that one can understand this feeling quite well. At least, there are umpteen people who live like that. Even if I ask myself, why.

What do you say to this topic and to the band?
