LISTEN | Nevada Tan [Neustart]

Titel: Neustart
Künstler: Nevada Tan

Do you know this if you suddely think of a song which you haven't thought of for years? You still know the chorus, you start to sing it loudly and your friends recognize the song, however nobody knows who has sung this song actually. It was exactly like that two days ago with Neustart by Nevada Tan which are called actually Panik but somehow not, however. This is too complicated for me, with the name Panik one finds no music but a wikipedia-entry and with the name Nevada Tan music but no entry. If somebody knows what's going on, explain it to me.

At all events I have listened to the song completely and i noticed that they remind me of Linkin Park but in German.. the rap-part in the verses and this - how does one describe this at the best - "rock" chorus. All in all a good mixture with a concept we all know but nevertheless somehow different. I like that!

Even if it's one of these songs which I thought it was cool with 13, I still think that it's quite food. I don't ask myself "What the hell did you listen to?" but still like it.

But one thing I find properly creepy: The name Nevada Tan comes from a Japanese murderess who was only eleven years old when she has murdered a classmate. However the law in Japan says, that one mustn't spread the names of juvenile prepetrators and because she wore a hoodie with the label NEVADA on a class photo and the syllable -tan is used as a minimisation, she attained this name and became an internet phenomenon. You find the whole story here.

But now to you again: Which songs make you feel that way? And what do you think of this band?
