Wie wir ja schon erwähnt haben, haben wir uns am Freitag auf den Weg zum Film zum Buch Die fünfte Welle gemacht. Wir haben uns schon richtig darauf gefreut endlich mal wieder im Kino zu sein und einen guten Film zu sehen, aber der Film war wirklich alles andere als gut. Nein, er war auch nicht grandios oder so. Er war einfach nur grottenschlecht.
Während des Films haben wir uns ständig gefragt, warum man absolut jede wichtige Szene, die so einfach umzusetzen wäre, rausnimmt. Was wäre daran so schwer gewesen? Was?!
Dann hätte der Film vielleicht fünf Minuten länger gedauert, oh mein Gott. Es war nichts wirklich stimmig. Es wirkte so, als ob die Macher das Buch nicht einmal gelesen haben. Immerhin war nur ein Teil der Grundgeschichte da, aber nichts wurde erklärt oder auch nur ansatzweise in der Emotionalität dargestellt, wie im Buch.
Der Film wirkte einfach seltsam im Gesamten. Nichts war wirklich logisch oder nachvollziehbar. Es haben sogar Charaktere gefehlt! Ganze Handlungsstränge wurden eben mal so aus dem Film geworfen.
Im Endeffekt hat man daraus einen mit Klischees überhäuften Hollywood-Schinken gemacht, der nicht mal ohne Buchvorlage als guter Film durchgehen würde. Selbst wenn man das Buch nicht kennt ist er nicht wirklich gut. Zumindest finden wir das.
Macht euch euer eigenes Bild, auch wenn wir nicht empfehlen, dafür Geld auszugeben, und hinterlasst uns eure Meinung in den Kommentaren. Wir sind schon gespannt!

Like we mentioned before we made our way to the cinema because of the movie based on the book The Fifth Wave. We were so excited to be in the cinema finally again and watching a good movie, but the movie wasn't everything except good. No, it wasn't superb, it just was extremely bad.
During the movie we always asked ourselves why they cut out every single important scene, which would be so easy to implement. What would be so difficult about it? What?!
Maybe the movie would have lasted five minutes more then, oh my god. It wasn't coherent. It looked like the doers of the film didn't read the book. At least there was a small amout of the basic story, nothing was explained or expressed with the same emotionalism like in the book.
The movie in general was strange. Nothing was logical or understandable. Even some characters were missed out! Some story lines were thrown away.
In the end they made cliché-ridden movie which wouldn't even be a good one without being book-based. At least we think it's like that.
