Ich bin fast ausgetickt, als ich gesehen habe, dass sie am 21. November in Wien sind. Mit.. mit.. Papa Roach!!! Wie cool ist das bitte?! Die Karten wurden natürlich sofort gekauft.
Ich habe auf Five Finger Death Punch lange vergessen. Irgendwie sind sie aus meiner Playlist verschwunden - ich weiß nicht mal wie, aber iTunes synchonisiert sowieso meistens nur Blödsinn (oder ich kann einfach nicht damit umgehen :'D). Durch ihr "neues" Album - ich hinke etwas hinterher, ja - bin ich wieder auf sie aufmerksam geworden und habe mich gefragt, warum ich sie eigentlich nicht mehr höre. Ich habe es definitiv bereut, dass ich sie nicht mehr gehört habe.
Mit dem Lied Wrong Side of Heaven wollen FFDP auf die Probleme im Militär aufmerksam machen. Einmal, als sie auf Tour waren haben sie das Militär besucht und dadurch entwickelten sich im Laufe der Zeit Freundschaften. Dadurch haben sie viel mitbekommen; unter anderem auch, wie erschreckend hoch die Suizidrate bei den Veteranen ist. Viele kommen einfach nicht damit klar, dass sie zwar für ihr Land kämpfen, aber dabei anderen das Leben nehmen, die doch im Grunde genommen auch nur dasselbe machen. Andere drehen aber einfach auch durch und verlieren alles und jeden. Kein angenehmes Leben..
Was haltet ihr von diesem Thema, aber vor allem von der Band? Hört sie euch unbedingt an. ;)

I almost freaked out when I saw that they are in Vienna on November 21st. With.. with.. Papa Roach!!! Tell me, how cool is that? Of course I bought the cards immediately.
I completely forgot about Five Finger Death Punch for a long time. They somehow disappeard from my playlist - I don't know how, but iTunes syncs bullshit (or I simply can't handle it :'D) Because of their latest album - I know, I lag a bit - I've got aware of them again and asked myself why I didn't listen to them anymore. I definitely regret this.
They want to make people aware of the problems in the military with the song Wrong Side of Heaven. One time, as they were on tour, they visited the military and in time they all became friends. Because of this they got to know how high the suicide rate is. Some veterans can't deal with that, that they've killed people which are only doing the same as he did. But there are also some people who get crazy and lose everything and everyone. Not a beautiful life..
