INSPIRATION | greens & whites {interior}

Ich bin absolut kein Fan der Farbe Grün. Egal, welche Schattierung, ich mag sie nicht, an Kleidung nicht, in Bildern nicht (okay, bei Schiele ergibt das Olivgrün Sinn…), auf einem Buchcover nicht, an Schmuck nicht. Aber ich liebe, wirklich liebe Pflanzen. Die Natur, ich liebe diese Schattierungen. Ich liebe die verschiedenen Grüntöne, wenn man durch den Wald geht und den Kopf in den Nacken legt, die Sonne bricht durch Blätterdach und das sind Grüntöne, die ich wirklich liebe.

Sie symbolisieren pures, reines, echtes Leben.

Schon fast ein Jahr wohnen wir in dieser Wohnung, und von Anfang an wollte ich eine Pflanze. Aber anscheinend sind Pflanzen wie Tattoos – hast du eines, willst du immer mehr. Bisher breiten sich die Pflanzen nur im Wohnzimmer und von Zeit zu Zeit in der Küche aus.

Das sollte sich meiner Meinung nach ändern, vor allem, da ich in letzter Zeit wieder öfter meiner Pinterest-Sucht nachgegangen bin… Ich liebe minimalistische Einrichtungsideen, gerne auch in die Industry Design Richtung, farblich beschränkt auf Schwarz, Weiß und Grau. Viel Weiß. Und liebend gerne auch lebende Grüntupfer – man kann sagen, was man will, auch auf bei den Bildern die folgen merkt man: Erst Pflanzen machen ein Zuhause richtig lebendig, erst dann ist es ein echtes Zuhause.

Wie seht ihr das? Und was ist euer liebster Einrichtungsstil - spielen Pflanzen bei euch auch eine große Rolle?

I’m not a real fan of the colour green. No matter, which shade, I don’t like it, not at clothes, not in pictures (okay, the dark olive green at Schiele makes sense…), not on a book cover, not at jewelry. But I do really love plants. Nature, I do love all these shades. I love all the different greens you can see if you’re walking through the forest, putting your head back and the sun breaks through the leaves. 

This symbolizes pure, clean, real life.

We’re living nearly one year in this flat now, and from the beginning I wanted one plant. Obviously plants are pretty similar to tattoos – if you have one, you always want more. Until now my latest obsession only takes place in the living room and from time to time in the kitchen.

In my view, we should change this, especially as I followed up my addiction to Pinterest the last days… I love minimalistic interior, especially towards industry design, in terms of colour limited to black, white and grey. Much white. And of course some spots of green – one can definitely say, that only plants make a home a vivid home. A real home.
