Kennt ihr diese Lieder, die ihr einfach mögt, aber nicht genau beschreiben könnt, warum? Butterfly ist eines dieser. Der Text ist irgendwie nämlich nicht gerade außergewöhnlich. Man bekommt eher das Gefühl, dass er gerne mit ihr f*cken möchte, als dass er wirklich verliebt ist. Aber vielleicht sollte ja gerade das die Message sein.

Jedenfalls ist das Lied in letzter Zeit oft in meinem Kopf. "Come my lady, come, come my lady, you're my butterfly sugar baby.." So geht es die ganze Zeit. Und ich hab keine Ahnung warum. Man kann gut dazu tanzen. Das muss man definitiv erwähnen. Anfangs hat mich das Genre der Band etwas gewundert, weil ich nicht wusste, dass Crazy Town (ich muss ständig an Lazy Town denken - oh mein Gott!) Nu-Metal macht. Aber vom Aussehen her, haben sie mich irgendwie an Linkin Park erinnert. Ich weiß auch nicht genau warum. Ich habe mir dann auch andere Lieder angehört und muss sagen: Echt nicht schlecht. Eine gute Mischung.

Jene, die nur dieses Lied kennen, sollten sich unbedingt auch mal andere von Crazy Town anhören, denn sie sind echt nicht schlecht. Und ich denke, Butterfly kennt fast jeder.

Zum Schluss noch eine ganz interessante Info: Wusstet ihr, dass das Gitarren-Riff geklaut ist? Von Pretty Little Ditty von den Red Hot Chilli Peppers?

Do you know these songs which you simply like but can't describe why? Butterfly is one of those. The lyrics aren't really extraordinary and one gets the feeling that he rather would like to bang her than love her. But maybe this is the real message.

At all events the song was often in my head lately. All the time I'm like: "Come my lady, come, come my lady you're my butterfly, sugar, baby..." And I have no idea why. One can dance to this so well. One must definitely mention this. The genre of the band suprised me a little at the beginning because I didn't know that Crazy Town (All the time I have to think of Lazy Town - oh my god!) is a Nu-Metal band. But they somehow reminded me of Linkin Park. I don't know exactly why either. Then I listend to other songs by them and must say: Not bad. A good mixture.

Those which know only this song should certainly listen to others of Crazy Town, because they aren't bad too. And I think almost everybody knows Butterfly.
