W H A T ' S  N E W

Die Wochen werden nicht weniger anstrengend. Entweder es liegt an uns oder es ist wirklich einfach alles anstrengend. Wir arbeiten, kommen nach Hause, Casey kocht, Eden wartet und fühlt sich unproduktiv (macht aber auch nichts dagegen), wir essen, sehen uns was im TV an und gehen schlafen. tagein tagaus dasselbe. Aber dann gibt es diese Tage, an denen man was entdeckt wie die UCI Unlimited Card. Mit der kann man zu einem Pauschalpreis im Montag so viele Filme sehen wie man will, im Kino. Das bringt ein bisschen Abwechslung in eine nicht so ereignisreiche, anstrengende Woche. Am Dienstag haben wir 10 Cloverfield Lane gesehen, aber dazu später mehr.

This week wasn't less exhausting. Either it is because of us or everything is really exhausting. We go to work, come home, Casey cooks, Eden waits and feels fallow (but does nothing against it), we eat, watch something on TV and go to sleep again. Day in day out the same. But then there are these days, where one discovers something like the UCI Unlimited Card. With this card you can watch as many movies as you want in the cinema. This brings some diversity into a not that eventfully, exhausting week. On Tuesday we went there to see 10 Cloverfield Lane, but you'll read more of it later. 

T H O U G H T

Menschen sind Egoisten. Alleine schon, dass wir die meisten unserer Sätze mit einem "ich" beginnen. Als ob es nichts Wichtigeres geben würde als uns. Das nervt so richtig. Und im Internet ist das sowieso ganz lustig, zum Beispiel, wenn man sich Statusmeldungen auf Facebook und Co. ansieht. Als ob es den Rest der Welt interessieren würde, was derjenige gerade von sich geben will. Oft hat man den Eindruck, dass viele glauben, in Vergessenheit zu geraten, wenn sie nicht hin und wieder irgendeinen Blödsinn auf Instagram, Twitter, etc. von sich geben. Und wozu? Damit wir denken, dass wir wichtig sind.

Humans are egoists. Let alone, that we begin most of our sentences with the word "I". As if there would be nothing more important. This is really annoying. And on the internet it's really funny, for example if one takes a look at the status updates on Facebook and co. As if the rest of the world is interested in what one is trotting out. Often one has the impression that many people think that they will be forgot, if he/she is not posting some bullshit on Instagram, Twitter, etc. But why? Because we think that we are important.

Wir haben auch diese Woche mit unserem "Marvel-Marathon" weitergemacht. X-Men - Erste Entscheidung, The Avengers und Captain America - The First Avenger. Alles tolle Filme, wirklich. Wir hätten anfangs nicht gedacht, dass wir uns so dafür begeistern können, aber wenn man mal damit angefangen hat, dann kann man nicht mehr aufhören und wartet schon sehnsüchtig auf den nächsten.

Jetzt kommen wir endlich wie oben erwähnt zu 10 Cloverfield Lane. Irgendwie war das ein sehr verwirrender Film, bei dem man bis zum Schluss nicht wusste, ob es jetzt ein Horrorfilm, ein Thriller oder ein Science-Fiction-Film sein soll. Es passiert so viel und man fragt sich ständig, wer jetzt was ernst meint. Und dann sind da die Aliens.

We continued our "Marvel-marathon". X-Men - First Class, The Avengers and Captain America - The First Avengers. These are great movies, really. We didn't thought that we could be so enthusiastic about this films, but if one starts with it, one can't end it and is excited about the next one.

But now let's go on to 10 Cloverfield Lane, like we mentioned it above. Somehow it was a really confusing movie, where one never knew if it's a horror movie, a thriller or a movie about aliens. So many things happen and one asks himself constantly who means what he says. And then there are the aliens.
