OUTFIT | New Year's Eve with friends

Ein neues Jahr beginnt – und hoffentlich beginnt es mit guten alten Freunden. Ich war nie beliebt, ich war eher der Außenseiter, warum weiß ich nicht so genau. Ich hab einfach nicht dazugehört. Das Gute daran war, ich musste mich nie zwischen einer Gruppe Bekannter und der anderen Gruppe Bekannter entscheiden, ich hatte und habe ein paar wenige Freunde, auf die ich mich verlassen kann, die mich so kennen wie ich bin, die mich so kennen, wie ich mich nach außen hin gern gebe, und dich mich so kennen wie ich war.

Und vor allem haben sie mich nie dafür verurteilt.

Mit genau diesen Menschen möchte ich ins neue Jahr gehen, und zwar genauso, wie unsere Freundschaften sind: Einfach, unkompliziert und hundertprozentig echt.

O U T F I T

Dieses Outfit ist für Silvester wirklich zurückhaltend – allerdings ist es für einen Abend in der Stammkneipe/Lieblingsbar mit den engsten Freunden gedacht. Als Eden und ich über den Silvester-Post-Ideen gebrütet haben, war die Richtung für dieses Outfit „How-I-met-your-mother-mäßig-oder-so“. Und irgendwie ist das Outfit auch so geworden. Ein bisschen gemütlich, ein bisschen cool, ein bisschen auffällig. Ganz ohne Glitzer und Funkeln geht‘s an Silvester dann aber doch nicht, das wäre ja langweilig. Und als ich diese Strumpfhose dann entdeckt hatte, war sozusagen alles klar.

A new year begins – and I hope it begins with good old friends. I was never popular, I’ve always been more the type of outsider I guess, I don’t know why. I just was kind of the odd one out. The good thing about that was, I never had to decide between two groups of friends, I had and still have a few very good friends I can count on, who know who I am, who know me the way I really am, who I am for the world, and who I was.

And above all they never judged me for anything.

I want to walk into the new year with these people, and I want to do it as our friendships are: Easy, uncomplicated and positively true.

O U T F I T

This outfit is very reserved for New Year’s Eve – indeed it’s intended for an evening at the favourite pub with the closest friends. When Eden and I were thinking about our NYE-post-ideas the direction of this look was kind of “How-I-met-your-mother-like-or-something-like-that”. And somehow the result is very close to this. A little bit comfortable, a little bit cool, a little bit eye-catching. But I can’t without glitter and sparkling on New Year’s Eve, I guess it would be have fun. And as I found this tights – everything was so clear.
